Accessible beaches near Ostuni

Lido Morelli (Fratelli Gallo). Fully accessible beach with boardwalks and bathrooms for the disabled. It is located inside the regional park of Dune Costiere from Torre Canne to Torre San Leonardo.

Il Faro. Located at Villanova di Ostuni, Fontanelle area.

Riserva Naturale di Torre Guaceto. Beach fully accessible with wooden walkways and bathrooms for disabled. Within the beach there is a covered wooden platform where one can relax.

Rental of special equipment for leisure

Hand bikes

These are lightweight and versatile bikes with Shimano XT. They can be used by means of the arms where the front wheel is equipped with brakes. Suitable for quadriplegics.

Prices: All day Euro 20 - Half day Euro 12

To rent this bike is necessary a deposit of Euro 50. Special prices can be applied if the rent exceeds one day.

Hippocampe

This is a special chair suitable for outdoor activities such as a walk in the countryside, in a park, in a forest or even by the sea.

Job chairs

These are special chairs that allow people with disabilities to enter the waterline and stay in the water (pool or sea).

Prices: All day Euro 16 - Hal day Euro 12
